Here’s one of the Divorce Cakes Kelly sent me. Thought this was…elaborate. We’ll call it Option ‘A.’

his was his This one seemed… funny…in a not too mean way. (Some of the cakes were vicious, depicting death scenes. Not my style.)

Let’s call it Option ‘B.’

Okay. Now this one… I would have to revamp…a lot. NO DEATH SCENE. I’m liking the chocolate roses. I’m thinking lone woman standing triumphant. No mean phrases. I’m not trying to down my ex. We’re on good terms. Our children play bingo together. We need to keep it that way.

So, with the changes I’ve suggested… we’ll call it Option ‘C.’

Time to vote people. Remember. Really, this is simply an excuse for me to eat another one of Vicky’s cakes. And I do subscribe to the philosphy that if a marriage starts with cake, it should end with it, too.

Well i never thought of a cake for an ending / new beginings…but Yeah you really should have one. I like opt B its cute – but come on… Opt A has so much thought put into it! I’m going with A

Ok, although “A” is really creative, it is just a square cake with some funny decorations you can’t eat. I have to go with “B”. It is very creative and all of the toppers could be made with candy pieces and cookies. “C” is rather disgusting if you ask me… Love the idea! Wish I could be there to share in the ceremony!

I don’t like any of the choices. How about a cake with you sitting in a beach chair next the the ocean sipping a margarita……..with your wedding rings floating out to sea? That would incorporate some of the things you love…..the beach….a good margarita……and the fact that you’re celebrating moving on.

You are too funny. Jennie’s is a perfect idea. I like option A, only for the fact of the ring in the casket, meaning that chapter in your life closing(the rest of the cake not so much).
Option B too cute, and divorce is in no way cute!!!!!
I’m going with Jennie’s idea….

I’d have to say that i too like the ring in the casket but the rest is too much on A. Being a guy, I’m not into cute so much so B is out. I like your modifications on C with the idea that you simply are looking for an excuse to eat cake but Jen has the best idea. Why not eat cake and celebrate what you like and not some crappy divorce process after all, all you want to do is eat cake, enjoy it.
